About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our growing team at RGC Construction. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, communicates well with clients and crew members, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where quality and precision matter. You’ll work on a range of residential and commercial projects across the Bay Area — from remodels and additions to custom builds.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform framing, finish carpentry, and general construction work

  • Read and interpret blueprints and project plans

  • Lead and mentor a small crew on-site

  • Ensure jobsite safety and maintain clean, organized work areas

  • Collaborate with project managers to maintain schedule and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on carpentry or construction experience

  • Strong understanding of residential and light commercial building practices

  • Ability to lead and motivate a crew effectively

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

  • Positive attitude and commitment to craftsmanship
