RGC Construction completed the full build-out of the new home for Diablo Ballet, transforming an existing commercial space into a purpose-built ballet studio and school. Working from plans provided by Archipelago Design, RGC demolished the entire interior — preserving only the existing kitchenette — and rebuilt the space from the ground up to meet the exacting requirements of a professional dance facility.
The completed studio includes three large ballet studios, each featuring custom sprung floors engineered to reduce impact for dancers and soundproofed walls to allow simultaneous classes without interference. Supporting the studios are two new restrooms, dedicated changing rooms, a welcoming reception area, a costume design area with storage, and two private offices — creating a fully functional home for both the school and the organization’s administrative operations.
